After the release of FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S, there were rumors about the next game of game. Then, developer Cawthon began confirming those rumors with trailers on his website. Finally, the game was available on Steam on November 11, 2014.

Similarly, the player must survive a night at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza from 12:00 to 6:00, without the attack of any Animatronics from room to room. In addition to the rotten old Animatronics, the game has added newer versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, which are Toy Animatronics and a humanoid robot named “Balloon Boy”.

Players will not be able to leave the monitoring room but can monitor the movements of the Animatronics through a network of security cameras located throughout the building. Each vent has a light that helps players to detect any Animatronics preparing to creep inside the workplace. To avoid approaching the Animatronics, the player can use a Freddy Fazbear mask to wear. However, this way won’t work on some characters (notably Old Foxy), so players must find another way to avoid them. The player will have a flashlight, which helps players inspect hallways and dark areas of the camera feed, as well as reset Foxy via strobing.

New updates

In this game, the power supply for the camera and ventilation lights is unlimited, but the flashlight has limited battery life. If it runs out, the player will be vulnerable to attack. Additionally, an Animatronic Marionette will appear when the music stops. Players can use the camera interface to control a music box in the room to avoid an Animatronic Marionette.

Unlike the first game, when the player dies, instead of the Game Over screen, one of the four 8-bit minigames will show, with instructions given at the start of each. These minigames contain insight into the game’s plot.

Completing an entire year adds a star to the title screen and unlocks an even more challenging Friday night, which in turn adds a second star and unlocks a “Custom Night” upon completion of the night. During Custom Night, players can adjust the AI difficulty of individual Animatronics (0 to 20) or play one of ten preset challenges. Completing the Custom Night with each machine beast set to 20 results in adding the final star to the title screen.

2 Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

Following the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, on March 2, 2015, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 was released on Steam. The game was then released for Android devices on March 7, 2015, and for iOS devices on March 12, 2015. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One ports were released on May 29. November 11, 2019. It is the third installment in the Five Nights at Freddy series and is chronologically set thirty years after the events of the first game.

Like the previous games, the player will play the role of a night shift worker whose job is to survive a week of working the night shift, pulling her aunt every night from 12:00 to 6:00. However, this game has only one Animatronic that can kill the player. Some Animatronics from previous games become Animatronic Phantoms that cannot cause direct harm to the player but can hinder survival efforts from reaching the player.

The player must monitor two separate security camera systems, one for each room/corridor and one ventilation duct to track the Animatronic’s movements. In addition, the player must see the status of the three operating systems and restart them whenever they malfunction. These systems control the cameras, a set of audio devices that can be used to draw the animation away from the player’s position and ventilate. Failure to keep up with the latter part of these activities can cause the player to hallucinate when seeing multiple Phantom Animatronics in the building. If the real Animatronic (Spring Trap) enters the office, the player gets a jumpscare and the game is over.

 New updates

The game consists of five nights, the difficulty increases with each night, and completing the whole year opens up an even more difficult “Nightmare” night. Some low-resolution minigames are hidden in the main game. Completing all of them unlocks the game’s “good ending” and grants access to bonus content including a cheat menu.

If the player completes the “Nightmare” night, they will unlock the cheat menu. The cheat menu offers a bunch of options, including a mode to make the Animatronics more active and thus make the game harder, depending on the player’s skill. Other cheats include radar and the ability to make the night faster.
